We are a gourmet salad dressing company with a philosophy to create full-flavored dressing. We also put a recipe on our label to help our consumers create their own delicious salads. Our dressings will be sold at gourmet grocery stores and larger grocery chains in the future. We would like to target women aged anywhere in their early twenties to mid sixties who come to purchase products for themselves and their families. Women who want to incorporate salads into their lifestyle, but have up until now been disappointed in the dressings available at stores. These women are short on time yet brand and appearance conscious. They are not happy with mediocre and will pay more for a product that will satisfy their need for a high quality tasting dressing and high quality looking salad dressing bottle.
What's your vision?
As of now we have three flavors with more in the works. We would like to see designs for three of our flavors. The winner of this contest would then be required to make an additional two labels for our other flavors. Each of the labels should be unique to the particular flavor (i.e. zesty garlic, sweet oriental, honey zinger, etc.), but all of the labels should be of one unified branded design. We wish our labels to be contemporary, eye-catching, and even perhaps a bit edgy. But as a "premium" product, we also want the label to convey a higher-end, classy brand". For this competition we are asking you to make labels for three of our best sellers; Zesty Garlic, Sweet Oriental, Honey Zinger. The label size is 3.5"x7.5" All are required to have the following: 1. Flavor name 2. Net Wt. 12 oz (340g) 3. Our Logo (Attached in the links) 4. Shake Well Before Serving 5. Keep Refrigerated 6. Nutrition panel (attached in links) 7. Ingredients: (attached in links) 8. Bar code (attached in links) 9. kosher symbol (attached in links) 10. For Questions or Comments please call 888-555-1212 11. For A Sensational Salad toss our Sweet Oriental Dressing with Romaine lettuce, Persian cucumbers, sliced mushrooms and sliced red onions. Enjoy! (this line should be on the side of the label) There is different required information that must go on every label, each varies on the flavor. The designer who wins must be willing to go back and place the official nutritional panels, ingredient lists, and UPC codes on the final designs. The winner must also be willing to tweak the designs before, and possibly after the competition, and in a timely fashion.
The logo, name of dressing should be displayed in the front 2" of the label. The kosher symbol should be small and could be placed on the side. The salad recipe should also be placed on the side. At first, we would like to see the label as a 3.5"x7.5" flat rectangle. When we have a better idea which direction we are going with, we would like to see the label on a 12oz round sauce bottle. I am attaching an image of a bottle, but do not use that actual image when making the label.
