Medical & Pharmaceutical
We are importing a very special herb that is grown in a rare mountainous region in Nepal called 'Cordyceps Sinensis.' (It has other names such as Yarsha Gambu and Summer Grass, Winter Worm) We are selling this product to Canadians, Research Universities, Health and Natural Organic Supplement stores and possibly more. Many Chinese Canadians are aware of the product and its immense benefits. However, majority of the western world is not. The product can be used in tea's, food, alcohol, and as a aphrodisiac. It is a very powerful herb mainly used for liver, kidneys, lungs, energy/vitality increase and cholesterol reduction. It should be noted that my business partner has 30 years family experience on the Nepal side in this business. So this is a family tradition/heritage we are bringing into Western Culture. Our target market is two fold: Individuals who are interested in overall health, looking to repair their kidneys, lungs, and liver. People suffering from diseases/conditions related to these organs. Retailers who are already selling the product and are out of supply (many are, since its such a rare item). Suppliers who would like to deal with a local/canadian source. Most are importing from China with added fee's, fake's and weight to bring down quality and quantity of their order.
What's your vision?
We would like a sticker/label and brand designed to place on our packaging for the product. We will typically sell in quantities of 1 gram - 10 grams, and 1/2 and 1 kg as well. We are looking for something we can place onto our bags, boxes etc. It might double as our logo. This will be featured on our website and posters as well. Have fun with the design. This is our first launch and cant wait to see what you come up with. :) We are considering a cartoon type image, but dont rely on that as it may change. It should be noted that our product is the natural, raw organic form as in the picture. 95% of companies out there who are using/selling this product are using it in a pill form or in a chicken broth mix. In the future, we may make our own supplement or tea, but for now we are starting out with the raw.
There is a little video you can watch about the product and its culture: http://eqhd.ca/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=167:tibetan-el-dorado&catid=22:catt&Itemid=3 There is also a Dr. oz episode that featured the top 5 most powerful herbs in the world recently. Cordyceps was one of them. If you google the image you might see all kinds of ugly images. Stick with these 2 as this is what the product really looks like.
