Help Calavera Sauce create an exciting label!

In Drazen, we develop sustainable projects, considering our environment and society's needs.

Our new project is Calavera, which is a mild hot mexican sauce.

We need a label for our product: Salsa Calavera (Skull/Skeleton Sauce), a mild hot mexican sauce, made with tamarind and chipotle.

The label will go on a 200 to 250 ml (6.76 to 8.45 fl oz) bottle.
We'll choose the bottle design depending on your design (that's why we're not giving measures just yet). Still, we're including an image of a bottle so you get an idea.

Calavera will be sold in supermarkets across Mexico.
There are a lot of sauces, that's why it's crucial that we stand out and look approachable.

We definitely want to avoid hot red colors, flames or anything that suggests our sauce is hot. It's actually very mild.

It's a sauce from Ireland that uses Mexican imagery.
What we like about these are the characters. We want a character in our label (more on this below).
Notice how they look approachable and makes you like them. We want that. Avoid intimidating, sad or mourning skeletons. In Mexico, skeletons are depicted as festive.

Now, regarding the skeleton character, it should be a woman skeleton wearing a "catrina" dress, so please check the Catrina files. All the files show the same dress.

You can change the color of the dress, hat and hat feather.
You can include the stole/scarf or you can remove it. You can change its color, too, if you decide to use it.

Now, we don't want the feathered skeleton (the one on her right arm), so please remove that.

Colors:

We're not closed to suggestions, although we're inclined to use the colors on the Colors file. Specially the blue and orange one. Check the colors, not the characters.
The colors are mild, they're not red hot.

Fonts:

We would like to use some fonts/styles that were used in Mexico some decades ago.
Best way to explain it is for you to see examples.
On the "Acerca de Cielito" section, you can see the fonts/styles we like on the right side. You can check other sections of the site, too.

The fonts are for "Salsa Calavera".
Also, you could include "tamarindo + chipotle". Or "&" instead of "+". Or make some images of a tamarind and a chipotle (no photos here please).

We've decided not to clutter you with all the text and info needed (ingredients, table of nutrients, etc) so you can only focus on your design. Don't limit yourself to using the bottle image either.

We'll work on the details once we choose our finalists.
