Domaine de Rocheville
Description of the product
We are Domaine de Rocheville, an organic wine estate of 17 hectares in Loire Valley, France. We are going to launch a new product this summer: a 3 liters Bag In Box in cube form (made of brown kraft paper ). It's a red wine in Saumur Champigny Appellation. The new cuvée name is "GreenWish". It's a wordplay. We are located in the small village of Parnay, crossing by the Greenwich Meridian. Furthermore, it's a new start for us of our ecological work because 2019 is the first vintage organic certified we will launch on the French market.
Description of the product target audience
The Bag in Box will be sold in the winery, french wine stores, restaurants.
We have a precise first idea of design for GreenWish, but don't hesitate to choose an alternative way with your creativity. We are open minded. We hesitate between modern and retro style. Firstly we think modern, but a Art Deco, Art Nouveau blended with modern touches can impress us too. Below, you will find our idea of GreenWish. 1) We need to find 3 drawing elements: - Earth Globe, crossing in the middle by a line, symbol of Greenwich Meridian. Earth globe has to be angled. Europe and meridian should be in the center (picture in attached documents for earth direction, the drawing is ugly and too academic ). You can choose to draw real earth or a globe from a desk. - on the earth top, we need to find a vine plant (without leaves if you choose the refine way, or with leaves and grapes if you want to reinforce the natural side) with roots which inerlacing, crossing the globe. It's a nature respect symbol with our organic work. If you dont like the vine plant on the top, you can draw it on a other part of the design. - Domaine de Rocheville Logo ( picture in attached document): We need to have R and V in green color, to reinforce our organic footprint. 2) We need to find 3 writing elements (completely free for font choices) - Firstly, the name cuvée "GreenWish". Don't hesitate to make a special font for the G and the W (like the Rocheville logo with R and V). The font size have to be the biggest of the label. For example, you can make a design like Universal logo. Be creative ! - Secondly, you have to put in the design the appellation name of our red wine: SAUMUR CHAMPIGNY - Thirdly, you have to put on the design the Winery GPS coordinates, with a compass drawing logo between Latitude and Longitude : Latitude 47° 13' 34.6" N Longitude 0° 00' 50.7" E 3) On the side of the design, you need to add an insert on the left or right side. You can make it in classic font for the writing part, small size. You have to put inside all compulsory elements and logos. If for design issues, it's better to write compulsory elements in a vertical way, it's not a problem. However, logos have to be horizontal. here below, you will find all compulsory elements: - Saumur Champigny Appellation d'Origine Protégée - Vendanges manuelles - 100% Cabernet Franc - Contenance: 3 Litres - 13% vol. - 2019 - Lot 51219 - Conditionné par Domaine de Rocheville F-49730 Parnay - Contient des sulfites - Produit de France Compulsory logos: - Pregnant Woman logo (small size) - European Union Organic logo + mention of "FR BIO-10 Agriculture" (big size) - French AB Agriculture Biologique logo (big size) - Vigneron Independant logo (small size) - Bar Code
What to avoid
No real images, No cartoon style, No funny style.
The label will be stick on the front of cubic Bag in Box. The size of the label isn't established, but the bag in box is a square of 16 cm. So a square label between 10 and 15 centimeters. We will print 1000 labels for start. So we will make numeric printing in quadricolor for this first label. No gilding, no embossing, no relief for this first label.
It all began with a design brief.
