gsg got their new product label by running a design contest:
GreenSmoothieGirl Food Labels
Check out gsg's Product label contest…
Greensmoothiegirl.com educates people on how to abandon the Standard American Diet and move a fabulous whole foods lifestyle. Our website receives about 100,000 hits per month from people looking to learn how to change how they eat. We also manufacture premium quality whole foods products such as plant-based protein powder and sprouted flax seed.
What's your vision?
We are wanting an update to our current food labels for Plant-Based Chocolate Protein Powder, Plant-Based Berry Protein Powder, Sprouted Flax, and our TriOmega sprouted powder. We love our current branding elements and colors and would like our food labels to be more colorful, graphic, and iconic to match our branding. We love the labels of both Vega (http://myvega.com) and Nativas Naturals (http://navitasnaturals.com/view_category.html) because they are colorful and you can easily discern between the different products. Our current labels are 'earthy' and muted and make it difficult to quickly distinguish what products you are looking at. On the proteins: Net Weight 16oz (454g) in the bottom center USDA organic seal (black version, not green version), "GMO Free" "Raw" dairy, gluten & soy free, no sugar added "Dietary Supplement" must be somewhere on the front. Chocolate gets "15g protein per serving" and Berry gets "16g protein per serving" We can also claim "Over 1,000mg Omegas per serving" On the two proteins include somewhere: "Free protein shake recipes book at http://www.greensmoothiegirl.com On the flax and TriOmega, Net Weight 16oz (454g) in the bottom center USDA organic seal (black version, not green version), "GMO Free" "Raw" dairy, gluten & soy free, no sugar added For the flax: "Over 7,000mg Omegas per serving" For the TriOmega: "Over 5,000mg Omegas per serving," We can also claim 4g fiber on flax and 5g fiber on TriOmega.
Our current branding is attached here. We want to use these images and color scheme for the labels. Also attached are our current labels that we DON'T like because they are blah.
