vcubias got their new product label by running a design contest:
Fishy's - Design of Tuna Can
Check out vcubias's Product label contest…
Food & Drink
Sales of canned tuna, through supermarkets.
What's your vision?
We are looking to design the label (on a regular size tuna can) for a new brand of canned tuna to be called Fishy's. You have complete liberty of design, to represent the quality of a Premium product. You may include pictures or images of pieces of tuna.
These are the logos of a Fish and Chips brand that I currently have, with the same name. These can (but do not necessarily have to) be used for the canned tuna. You can use either of the two logotypes attached, modify them or use other colors that you can consider best, or you can make a completely new logo design. For the regular information that you always find on a can of tuna (ingredients, nutritional facts, etc.), please use any simulated data, since at this point the focus is on finding the design.

And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
