We are a winery. We are just starting and do not currently have a label concept for our varietals.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We would like a label for our wine. We'd like one label concept that
we can make minor adjustments for each of our varietals. It should
contain our logo along with a spot for the varietal name. You can use
the name "Black Cab" as the varietal name. I'd like a small
description such as "semi-dry blackberry Cabernet." No need for
appellation or year. I have no preference for horizontal or vertical
label, just something unique and catchy.
Our style is a classy industrial. I like long labels on wine bottles
as I think they look a bit more sexy but I'm open to something
creative. Our website is http://www.winemakersdaugther.com if you want
to see what we have started. We are located in small town Manawa, WI
and we're renovating an old hardware store. It is a great charm with a
brick wall, old tin ceiling and maple floors. Thus we are going for a
classy/trendy industrial look as far as decorations. Since our name is
Winemaker's Daughter, I don't want it to be too girly or childish as
we want to cater to both men and women and don't want to promote
alcohol for youth. I am open to any minor changes to my logo as well.
We will need to put the labels on a roll for the labeler so we need to
be within those specs. The bottles are the standard 750ML wine
bottles. Most of our wines will be fruit wines vs. grape wines.
