Hustler's Classic PRO Notebooks
Description of the product
We offer a range of Notebooks that redefine that Classic Notebook. They are packed with features like thick, fountain-pen friendly paper, a built in pen holder, inside pocket, ribbon and strap. Our notebooks are professional and sturdy. Customers love the professional, simplistic design, the sturdiness and the paper.
Description of the product target audience
Our brand HUSTLE Co targets business owners, freelancers and entrepreneurs aged 24-49. They are professionals who work hard and need products that will keep up with their life. They have big dreams and goals. Our customers are all US based.
The banderole (or sleeve) that wraps around the notebook. We only require the front part of the banderole to be designed. It does not need any technical information on the back. These products are sold only online and the key is to remember that the design if for eCommerce and NOT for retail. eCommerce design requires you to be BOLD, DISRUPTIVE and really stand out from pages of products in the search results. Given the notebook itself is a dark colour (either black or navy blue), the base of the design should be a lighter colour so that the banderole POPS off the notebook. Don't be shy with the font size and colours used. Whilst simplicity is really important to the brand - so is being highly visible and disruptive in the eCommerce environment. Also keep in mind with the design that the elastic strap that wraps around the notebook will get in the way and position the content accordingly. Mandatories: Logo - although this is low priority and doesn't need to be particularly prominent Range Name - The Hustlers' Classic PRO Product Type - we have Lined, Dotted and Black Notebooks so allow for the product type to be changeable and reasonably prominent (eg., how might you color code the 3 different product types - Lined, Dotted and Blank? So - the product naming would read 'The Hustlers Classic Pro - Lined' The Hustlers Classic Pro - Dotted etc etc) Text to go on front is "The Classic Notebook Re-Imagined... Stylish Design, Super Functional. Design should be: * Modern * Bold * Simplistic / Minimalist * Stylish - premium * Suitable for an eCommerce channel * Disruptive - don't be afraid to be bold with this design - we need this to POP off the page Please show your design mocked up on a notebook. THANK YOU!
What to avoid
* Small, difficult to read text * Dark backgrounds that won't pop off a dark colored notebook * Note that I have provided an image of the notebook with the current banderole. This design has been ok but I feel it needs to be more bold, more disruptive and have more personality / less clinical.
(refer to files attached for my mocked up keyline drawing): Open to creativity on the shape of the banderole which we can accomodate. The size of the entire banderole that wraps around the notebook is 352mm (note that 20mm of each side will fold over the notebook cover and sit inside the book). The priority is the front - in total you have 145mm that is highly visible on the front of the book. The elastic strap sits about 28mm to the right side of the front. The width should be 110mm.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their product label.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
victoria.skik collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
