We need labels for four drink bottles. There is a strong possibility that we will use the winning designer for future label work. I want to emphasize this is a craft product, that could imply incorporating vintage themes into the design.
The four drinks with their name and sub heading are:
1. Spicy Ginger Chai:
“Be healthy, energize and revitalize.”
2. Sweet Rose Chai
“Be sensual, energize, and thrive.”
3. Tulsi No-Caf Chai
“Relax and renew the spirit.”
4. Sweet Thai Chai.
“Embrace the exotic and decadent.”
The bottles are 32 fluid ounces, hdpe #1 plastic. We want the labels to be wrap around three panel on a square bottle. The back of the bottle will be empty. Here is the bottle: http://www.thecarystore.com/contain…tle-68w32r
There is a lot of real estate on the bottle, please use it.
The label must have room for a standard American nutritional label. It must say on the side panel: perishable keep refrigerated, use within 7 days after opening, and shake well. Wording and placement can change as long as the messaging stays the same.
It needs to have a UPC code, and a place for an organic certification graphic. Likewise it needs to say 32 oz. net weight. A graphic of our previous label is enclosed for you to pull these items off of.
We would like it to be differentiated on shelf by "owning the product" We are stressing to own the product, not project the brand as a priority. In order of importance on front facing is:
1.Chai (largest font) then sweet rose, spicy ginger, Thai, No-caf Tulsi as a slightly smaller font.
2.next font size smaller is Benefits/descriptive sentence.
3.Concentrate =/makes 5 cups
4.Brand which is "Planet Teas" and logo.
5.Made in Humboldt or Humboldt Made. These should be emphasized in order of importance with font size. These all need to be on the front label. As a Reference one should look at ready to drink coffee concentrates.
We want the label to attract the following target: Modern professional high end consumers who are educated, busy, willing to pay for a high end drink product and seek a fulfilling life, enjoy rich experience but their time is at a premium.
Bias is towards urban professional woman, mothers, and people who live an active lifestyle. Additionally, we do want to capture the American millennial/ hipster market. A fundamental experience is that the consumer feels modern, educated and trend setting.
OUR CHAI IS A SMALL BATCH CRAFT HAND MADE product.
Future design work will be a simplified version of the design applied to 4 Gallon labels of the same drinks. Also it will tie in with containers and labels of dry loose leaf tea, but this is only to be taken into general consideration.
