Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We hand harvest sea salt from the Gulf of Mexico off Panama City Beach, FL. Our target audience is the tourist who visits here and wants to take home a great souvenir for themselves or as a gift for friends and family.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We require both a front and back label. We are using stand-up pouches in two sizes. 2 " w x 3 " t and 3 1/2" w x 5" t. This is approx. total label size package overall is larger. The front of the package is clear and the back silver. We don't want the label to fully cover the front because we would like our sea salt to be visible. Front Label: Colors and design elements that our going to attract the tourist and remind them of the amazing vacation they had here on Panama City Beach. So - sun, sand, dolphins, etc. We do want the front label to actually say "Panama City Beach, FL" somewhere as part of the design. We currently have a logo we like and are using it in 4 colors to differentiate our 4 varieties. I've attached pics. We'd like to continue to use that on the front. Other phrases we use a lot and can be incorporated either front or back are:
"From Our Beaches to Your Table" "Hand Harvested Sea Salt" "Buy Local" "Support Local" These are just more ideas and I don't expect them all to be used.
Back Label: The usual requirements "Ingredients: Salt" and this will vary with our 4 varieties - Lime, Pecan Smoked, and Ghost Pepper. Net Weight 1.5 oz or 3.4 oz http://www.gulfcoastsaltworks.com and Panama City Beach, FL
"Keep in a dry place as salt easily attracts moisture" "All Natural" "No MSG" "No Gluten" "No Anti-Caking"
"Our unique artisanal Sea Salt is harvested from the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Bring a taste of the Emerald Coast home to your table"
We are totally open to any and all suggestions and are really looking forward to seeing some amazing designs. Check out our web-site for more info about our product.
Thanks! Chef Paul and Judy
I've attached a example of the type of packaging we are using as well as our current jars with our different labels. I'd like to stay with the colors which denote the flavor varieties. Unless someone has a better idea!?
