Description of the product
Hi, my name is Alex, from Graz Austria, I’m launching a new Gin. The type of my Gin is a London Dry Gin, distilled in Austria, and from a brand perspective comparable with other local brands like Monkey 47 Gin in Germany or Aeijst Gin in Austria. It’s a hand-crafted Gin bottled in 500ml bottles, the Gin can be drunken pure and not only with tonic. The main difference to other Gins is the very smooth taste which makes the Gin drinkable also pure with ice. Thanks for being a part of my project. Alex
Description of the product target audience
I want to reach the middle to upper class bar guests in the age of 21 to 50 years on an international market, but I start in Western Europe.
Objective: My requirements are that my new brand “rooms distillery” and the name of the Gin is called “room number 43” but you can also use “room 43” or “room #43” or “room No. 43” whatever fits better into the design. My challenge is to bring my brand personality to come into life and be communicated in the beginning only through my label packaging design. I’d like to create a brand to fit in-between the medium and high-class Gins like Monkey 47 and Elephant Gin or other high-class products like Grey Goose or Belvedere Vodka. But please do not copy any of these brands because I don’t want to be known as a knock-off. The packing should be eye-catching in a bar in the evening which looks interesting on the shelf behind the barkeeper but also on the table of guests. Please respect that in this environment the light is darker and not natural (bar atmosphere). Please be informed that currently I have no homepage and no logo – the bottle design is the first design and all other design will follow. The key benefit - to allow the consumer to have a nice evening with friends, enjoying a premium product with a perfect smooth taste and quality - should be communicated (design and/or maybe also a short product description on the label). The objectives for the bottle designs are Cork – I prefer a real cork and not any metal or plastic one, you can see the type of cork on the photos of the bottle, the design should also respect to integrate the original cork – the feeling to open the bottle should be to open a high-value product, not a must have but maybe a high-class banderol or something else (I add also an example photo for this issue) Bottle – I made already my choice, please see the photos and the technical description in the attachments Bottleneck – if it fits to the design and maybe the brand rooms and the product room #43 could lead to a small key around the bottleneck (gadget, see the photo in the attachments), but maybe this makes no sense and is only my idea (I’m open also for other ideas) Label – I have the option to silk screen print the label but than I’m limited to maximum 2 colours or to use digital printed self-sticking labels with full colour options. You can propose one label which can bigger (wrapped almost around) or two labels (one in the front and one in the back) and in the case of two labels they may be also double sided printed (to see something also from the inside view of the bottle) – please check the photos attached. The label must include in any case (anywhere on the bottle, maybe on the back) London Dry Gin Company xxx Street xxx City xxx 500ml 43% vol. Batch Number One of my ideas without any obligation to follow Maybe the design can follow the brand name “rooms” – the design shows something which relates to a room (the room number 43) and shows through a door or window (which has a transparent area) on the label (if it’s wrapped around) something secret inside (double printed) Another of my ideas without any obligation to follow Maybe a pure and simple design like the Aeijst Gin Bottle or something like Monkey, the Hick liqueur or the Big Cypress Gin
What to avoid
What I don’t want to have Not too playful Not too many different colours
