A friend and business colleague is turning 50, and for his birthday, I would like to have designed a professional and witty/humorous label for a wine bottle. I own a small vineyard and am going to but this personalized label for him on a case of our wines for the gift.
What's your vision?
The birthday boy is Mike Tobin, CEO of TelecityGroup plc. A little background and history will serve to help get the flavor of the design. Mike and I worked together to acquire Telecity many years ago, and he has been CEO since 2005. It's been a great success, as the Company is now publicly traded company on the London Stock Exchange and a member of the FTSE250. While I am no longer on the board, I and a small group will be gathering for Mike's 50th next week. Mike is a gregarious, engaging person. He cares about design, and has developed an easy but refined personal style - a quick skim of the web will find many images of him. I have attached a handful. I have also attached a pdf of the label for our family winery. I am looking for someone who wants to get their creative juices flowing and use the theme of a 50th birthday, images and themes about Mike, and some of the design elements of the winery label, to create something professional looking, unique, and memorable. I will provide edits and comments to the designs posted to get them just right.
I need this fast - over the weekend - so the labels can be printed and affixed on Monday.
