Food & Drink
Description of the product
We supply wine to the festival industry in non-breakable non-glass formats and are now developing a canned wine option to meet demand from clients. The can would be a Red Bull sized format.
Description of the product target audience
The wine will potentially be stocked at over 120 events each year, mostly during the summer and mostly music festivals. Our typical market is aged 18-25.
Design a contemporary, premium label for a range of canned wine. Notes We want a fantastic design to reflect the exceptional quality of the wine inside. The brand name and label need to be both eye catching and easy to read from some distance - the wine is positioned behind a bar on shelving sometimes in low light conditions. The product should be easily identifiable as wine somehow, despite it being a canned product - consumers are not used to expecting wine in a can so this is the key challenge of the design project. The bottles will compete within point of sale areas against other beverages served at festivals and outdoor events. The labelling should be distinctive so that the wine stands out, both when seen individually, or as a display featuring multiple bottles. This consideration shouldn't dominate the overall feel of the brand, but should be kept in mind for the design. We want something contemporary but premium - think craft beer labels but elevated to fit the more high-end, premium product that is wine. The design required is for FRONT LABEL ONLY. Examples of styles we like: http://underlinestudio.com/halo-brewery/ Feel free to change the 'Applause' logo that we have provided if required within the new design that you come up with.

It's a very fine wine, quite expensive to produce and the label should be elegant. The picture of the customer (30-40yo)
