The bottle is as important as its contents. We encourage designers to get creative and turn it into a piece of art that can remain on your shelf, even after the bottle is empty. All that is restricted is the canvas, as the shape of the bottle is tall, slim and sleek.
Our bottle should look luxurious, crisp, and premium.
Our brand name should be clearly visible (T's), and our "signature" is a feather (possibly silver-tipped). We would like to incorporate the feather perhaps as the apostrophe between T and s, but mostly as a large and visible signature as part of/on our bottle. The T should be prominent.
We think that it might look good to put "icing" (matte finish) on the bottle, but it's definitely not a necessity: we are curious to see the possibilities we haven’t envisioned yet ourselves (plus, partially iced or iced shapes would also be possible). We were thinking about possibly having the feather shown as the lack of icing, if that makes sense, with outlines of it in that see-through area. It would also be possible to use reliëf printing on the bottle.
We were also thinking about the possibility to use the "lens effect" of the bottle by printing an image on the backside that is seen at the front through the bottle, if that would be possible (as for example Grey Goose and Belvedere have used). Again, these are just some ideas we had, but feel free to get creative!
It should also say "organic", "Vodka" and "distilled and bottled" (or perhaps "handcrafted and distilled") "in Amsterdam" on the bottle.
All contents will be screen printed onto the bottle, so the designed label will not be stuck to the bottle, but be part of the bottle instead.
The vodka itself is extremely smooth and light, and has almost no "burn" after drinking. The first question often asked is: "This can't be 40% alcohol, can it?" We would like to show this lightness in the design.
We would like to use clean colors (light blue, whites, perhaps silver) and perhaps some green for for example the word "organic".
