Description of the product
We are looking at creating a new wine brand from Slovenia. The name of the brand will be ‘Gio’ and it will be a Chardonnay.
Description of the product target audience
We need to appeal to urban, college educated wine consumers. The breakdown will likely be 55% women.
We are looking at creating a new wine brand from Slovenia. The name of the brand will be ‘Gio’ and it will be a Chardonnay. The label needs to look elegant and clean and it should be very font driven. The label needs to stand out on a crowded shelf and be very easily noticed from 4-5 feet away. It should appear to be a $20 wine. Please put all your designs either by themselves or if you put it on a bottle please use a traditional Chardonnay bottle. Although we are open to any fonts and looks, generally it is difficult to put an entirely dark or black label on a white wine as it tends to turn the wine a darker color. We are certainly open to a variety of designs or label treatments to stand out including foils, embosses or other textural ideas. We are not interested in vineyard imagery.
What to avoid
vineyard imagery and predominantly dark labels
We are open to a fairly wide range of shapes and sizes.

Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
alan NS collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
