We make wine for discerning consumers, focusing very much at the quality end of the spectrum. We are family owned and run, and have been making wines for 35 years.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We need a new label to suit a Shiraz / Cabernet blend, and a Chardonnay. The wine is called E series, and retails for around $15 per bottle. We are looking for a label that is likely to be mainly black writing on White paper stock(with some highlight colour/s used), and is striking, modern, reasonably simple, and a bit different. We do not want clichéd wine pictures of grapes or anything like that. It is important for the label to not fell too busy
The label would need to suit a Bordeaux shaped bottle and a burgundy shaped bottle, and would likely be in a regular rectangular shape.
It may be worth looking at our website http://www.eldertonwines.com.au for some cues to what we like, especially in regards to the labels in our Greenock range.
We also mainly use Century Gothic as a typeface.
The logo below is not an absolute requirement to be on the final label (ELDERTON in block letters can also work), and we would not want the 'Barossa' part on the label regardless.
