his contest involves the the design of a label for a glass honey bottle.
The honey in this bottle is very high grade and I want the label to be elegant and classy. This honey will be sold at a high price point, so the label needs to appeal to a discerning buyer of means, but subtle.
I intend to use custom, die cut labels. I am open to reviewing your ideas for custom label shapes and designs.
I do NOT want labels that are common round, square, rectangle labels.
I would like them to have a vintage look.
I have provided some examples of SHAPES I lean towards. I have also uploaded a picture of the glass bottle to which the label will be applied.
The maximum dimensions of the label can be no larger than 3- 1/8th inch tall by 2 -1/8th inch wide. As seen in the photo, the field for the label on the bottle is wider half way down in the middle than at the top and bottom of label field. The shape of the label may be wider in the middle, or not. It's an option. The die cut label can be any shape.
The name on the honey will be "Everett & Derring"
I would like a striking and elegant font to be used.
These phrases need to be included in the design:
Everett & Derring
Premium California Natural Wildflower Honey
A New World Honey Gathered In The Old World Tradition
One pound ,454 GM,(can be spelled out, numbers, combo, what ever looks best)
One or more colors is fine but imagine amber honey in the bottle. The colors must enhance the look of the product, not clash with it.
You need to supply the finished design in both Eps and PDF format.
