Brief Overview: We are independent winemakers and marketers from California, with an emphasis on producing wines that are accessible, yet bold, luscious, and layered. We love wine and love sharing great wine with good people. Our brand identity is about celebration: reliving old memories with old friends while creating a few new stories yet to be told. We are young, wistful winemakers that remember days gone by, but always have an eye for the next great time, be it on a stoop, at a bbq, or at the beach.
Brand Name: THROWBACK CELLARS is the brand. Each wine we bring to market will have a sub-name for that particular vintage. This design project should create a label for a red and white wine varietal bottle.
Target Audience: Gen-Xers, millennials and adventures (welllllll,, geared toward younger crowd but open to anyone young at heart)
Throwback product concepts could apply to school, fashion, lost loves, exotic travel, music, movies, art, etc...ok, we're hammering it home here, but you get it, just nostalgic stuff.
Demos: Pop culture-savvy consumers in major metro areas, willing to pay a slightly higher price for interesting wines (price points of $18-$24). Married and single, this audience is comfortable with coupling new, adventurous purchases with old favorites. They like to be among the first their peers to have discovered something new. They are willing to make online purchases monthly or go the extra mile (virtually speaking, of course) to get the product they want.
