Food & Drink
We offer our members the opportunity to purchase rare wines from around the world, and we privately label wines made in Texas from Texas grapes, to our specifications.
What's your vision?
I want a design for a wine label for our first privately labeled Texas wine. Willow City Cellars is a new business, so the label design should contain elements to derive a logo also. Willow City Cellars is a private membership for wine enthusiasts interested in purchasing elite and rare wines from around the world. The audience will be true wine enthusiasts who typically drink more expensive wines. This particular label will be for our Texas wine, made exclusively for Willow City Cellars, as a calling card to our exclusive membership.
The label dimensions can be no larger than 4.5 inches in height by 5.5 inches in width. The bottle has a black screw top and although the bottle color is antique green, when filled with the dark red wine the bottle appears almost black. Although this is a Texas wine, I want to appeal against stereotype, so no cowboys, horses or landscapes. Something that says elite and a little edgy, to attract both the older money crowd but also some of the younger who will be attracted to our global wine offerings. I want a label that states this is not your typical yee-haw Texas wine. My taste runs to simple and clean. The attachment shows the information as to content that will need to be on the front label, but is not meant to influence the design otherwise.
