Food & Drink
Atlas Drinks owns a winery, Zero One Vintners, and a wine brand, LUKE. We sell and market our brands through traditional channels such as distributors and accounts both retail and restaurant throughout the USA.
What's your vision?
We need a design for our new brand, LUKE. Luke is a Washington State based red wine that comes from a site-specific region, the Wahluke Slope appellation. It is very well known for its terroir and flavor profile to be a really top notch wine producing region within the Columbia Valley. The Wahluke Slope is part of the Columbia Valley AVA. The Wahluke Slope AVA is the worlds largest alluvial fan and sits along the Columbia River and behind the Red Mountain AVA. Whereas Red Mountain has a tremendous amount of popularity and is well branded as a region, Wahluke Slope plays second fiddle, even though it's every bit as quality. We would like to produce a singular red wine with a strong, clean, modern label design on a medium to heavier weight bottle. Looking for a minimalistic approach to the label. Think of some of the new modern label designs coming out of Spain for inspiration. Also know that the Wahluke Slope is a very hot, dry region of Washington State.
We want you to consider a play on the name LUKE. We think consumers may have a connection to this fictitious person, LUKE, which obviously comes from the word Wahluke. Like a few other wine brands sold in the USA that are doing very well, such as Joel Gott, Justin, Josh, Jordan, etc., who's names are one or two words and male, we think this may be an interesting thread to explore. On the back, maybe a story about who LUKE is and the region the wine (he) comes from. Mysterious, dark, brooding...like the wine.
