Description of the product
Small Vineyard is a brand that we have just created. It will be a range of wines from small family wineries throughout Italy. We have worked closely with these wineries for several years but this is an entirely new brand. We will work with these family farms and have them produce a single varietal that their families are best known for. The wines will be special, and we want to convey how unique this brand is. All of these wineries are generational families that have received critical industry acclaim.
Description of the product target audience
Our wines are sold through both grocery/wine stores as well as restaurants. The demographics would be 50/50 men/women, college educated, 24-49, living in urban/suburban locations.
In the past most of the wines we import are give a small vineyard sticker (below). This sticker designates that the winery was small, family owned and critically acclaimed. We would like to incorporate this sticker into the label as either part of the main label or as a sticker as we have done before (size, location are open for discussion). We have also created a second Small Vineyards logo that may be more relevant for this brand as we would like this brand to be a version of a modern fashionable Italian brand. We do not want it to look old and stodgy. If you want to come up with a new unique logo, icons or designs we are open to that. Although we have the new Small Vineyards icon we are certainly open to looking at other designs if you think they fit the label better. For this label it should have ‘Small Vineyards’, ‘Chianti’, ‘2018”. It should be on a traditional Bordeaux red wine bottle. It should feel clean, authentic and not like a gimmick. If you were to look at just logos from different fashion companies we would be more like Prada or Fendi and not Versace. We are open to different colors, foils or embossings.
