We loved Lana's creativity and her ability to translate an existing design into a completely different form factor with space constraints. She handled the job superbly and was very flexible through several iterations. Her turn-around time is very quick. We look forward to working with you again in the near future.

Food & Drink
Wong Kee Food Limited
Pork Siu Mai's
Description of the product
My Siu Mai's are seasoned pork minced meat wrapped in a flour based pastry wrap. They are steamed, served hot. and are simply full of flavour!
Description of the product target audience
Anyone really. I know a wide range of people who often buy and eat my product as a treat, every so often, or even for hosting a party!
I would like a new label / packaging designed to make my product a little more relevant to the current food market. The design that I am using now was just a start up design to get my product out there but i am now ready to expand my business and try and go national.
My product is a traditional Chinese starters dish so i would like to go for a authentic Chinese theme. I will attached some images of existing food packaging that i like and hopefully help you understand what i mean,
i would also like to replace my current company logo (the Chinese character one) with a new one that a family member kindly wrote out for me using a traditional art brush. So basically, i would need "Wong Kee Food Limited" AND the two new Chinese characters on the packaging. Can you keep the Chinese characters looking like paint brushed writing please. Also the two characters can be next to each other, going diagonal, downwards or even separate (just like how i currently have it). Whatever looks good to be honest.
I would definitely like some green colours in the design as that is my lucky colour, you can use any other colours as i am open for choices.
I will be heat sealing the packaging so the new labelling will be more visible instead of being all folded and squashed looking, so feel free to use more of the area for your design.
What to avoid
Not to use too many colours as i have been told by the printing company that their machines sometimes cant print packaging out properly due to complicated designs and too many colours.
*Keep it simple-ish
*Barcode needs to be in black pressed against white
*Design need to be printed on some sort of freezable polythene bag
*Packaging will be going into a freezer
*I only have Microsoft Work 2010 so i am limited to being able to open up imagines and designs.
*Simple or not too many colours to keep my packaging costs down for now please.
The JPEG imagine is the new Chinese logo. it has uploaded rotated once for some reason, so needs to be rotated another twice to be the correct way up.
The size of the bags that i will be using is 10inch x 17inch. i will be heat sealing around 1 inch from the top so feel free to use all of the space.
