We need a somewhat "adaptive" product label layout and design, which will be used to seal the otherwise label-less carton boxes on the opening side of the folding mechanism. The two boxes, that are being designed are Nr. 0444M (Page 48) and 0416M (Page 42) according to the FEFCO-ESBO standard, that can be found on the following link: http://www.bokaplast.nl/fefcofiles/…esigns.pdf
The Idea is, that the lable covers the two adjacent edges (broader edges) of the opening side, so that we have a kind of three-partition of space. It should include any kind of positioning aids for the edges into the design. On those three design spaces, we need to put the logo, product name and product information, nutritional facts and ingredients list, and a preparation recommendation. All of those contents will be specified throughout the design process in more detail. It can be said already, that the product name must be design in a way, that it can be easily replaced by a sticker (e.g. designating Product Form Factor Variants).
The initial Box Dimensions are:
The Product Category Brand is attached, the company name (El Aleman SAS) is not prominently included in any way.
Attached as well are dimension authentic pdfs of the two boxes. Note that the bigger box has a perforable hole for easy opening, it's connected by default, but can be removed with slight thumb force.
The design should occupy a reasonable and beautiful fraction of the width of the box. We think you know best how to arbiter on this.
In case you might wonder about the München. New York. Bogotá. tagline: The meaning is the imaginary journey the Bretzels took in order to arrive in Colombia. They are of south german origin, New Yorkers go crazy about them, and finally they are brougt to Colombians.
The annexed bigger box is actually for b2b to restaurants, bars, bakeries. The smaller box is meant for the end customer. However, both can resemble or not: Open to ideas.
Logo Fonts are Simonetta Heavy and Josefin Sans Bold.
