Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Small (one barrel output) microbrewery producing cask-conditioned ales, a wide range of standard bottled beers, plus historic beers recreated from brewing archives. I supply my bottled beers only to a handful of specialist bottle shops.
I am well-established and have a loyal customer base who aren't put off by my current poor label. The new label should attract the discerning beer drinker in the 30-40 year age group who can afford to pay a premium, and would normally not try a traditional style of beer.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I need a 89mm high x127mm wide beer label for my standard beers in a 50cl brown beer bottle.
The design should be modern, not fussy, not frilly. My customers must recognize the bottle immediately as a "Luckie Ales".
Text needed is the name of the beer, "brewed in Fife", "50cl" and the alcohol content in the form "alc. X% abv". I brew about 10 standard beers so I would prefer to change the name of the beer with an SVG editor myself or I can give you a list of the beer names. I would like to be able to change the X in the alcohol content myself using an SVG editor. Can you incorporate the words "traditional" and "bottle conditioned" into the design.
The rest of the legal stuff, best before info, goes on a little plain label on the back, which I'll print myself.
