Food & Drink
my family is from Marlborough New Zealand. i love wine! i grow grapes and am looking to start my own wine brand "Abbot's Cove" based on a small, private cove/bay that is in Marlborough, New Zealand. target audience is male(more)/female skew middle age professionals that enjoy relaxing with wine. middle age men buying wine for their wives.
What's your vision?
id like a wine label that represents Marlborough New Zealand, sea, the cove and my family's small batch/shack/holiday home that has been in our family for generations. Abbott's Cove is very special to me. i spent my childhood growing up here and have fond memories of fishing, diving, family, beautiful sunsets and the scenery. its great place to get away from it all, relax with friends and family and enjoy wine and food. i'd like my label to represent the above. id like to think consumers would purchase and enjoy it thinking that they are "getting away from it all"....a short holiday in every glass so to speak. the label needs to be relatively strong and powerful and represents the landscape. darky colours are OK, silhouettes of the scenry, people, me, etc
new zealand is beautiful, the wine is great and i'd like to think people to see label and can relate to it. i think that my buyers are predominantly middle age males that are buying wine for their wives so the label needs to be gender neutral in some ways. Requirements: wine: white wine bottle: antique green colour light weight burgundy. see attached cap: black front label size: <90mm(width) x <110mm(height) back label size: <80mm(width) x <110mm(height) Front label requirements: brand name, 2013, Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand Back label: Abbott's Cove Marlborough Sauvignon blanc, text box for the story, Bar code(35mm x 25mm), QR code (12mmx 12mm), 750ml, 127.% alc, legal text(45mmx45mm)
