Description of business

We are a small "boutique-style" family-run vineyard in Northern Denmark. We produce organic, hand-made red and white wines in small quantities.

Description

We are looking for a label design for both our white and red wine. Both labels should have the same elements, but different colour schemes.

The label needs to be a single label (may be wraparound style). We are flexible with regards to the label size, but a sensible size could be 80/90mm high, 140mm wide.

The wines are called "56 degrees north" (feel free to use degree symbol or abbreviate in the design). This name should be emphasised in the design. Other required elements in the label are:

- The company name: Guldbæk Vingård
- The varities, for example Ortega or Rondo
- Vintage (year)

The company is named after the local creek which, directly translated to English, is called "golden creek". An abstract representation of this golden creek should preferrably be part of design.

We want you to make a (rather) minimalistic and modern design. Avoid stereotypical images of vines, leaves, grapes etc. and also excessive use of script fonts.

The label needs to be easily remembered (i.e. people need to be able to describe it to their friends)

Further requirements

The product is targeted at Scandinavian men/women age 25-55. They value good design, are environmentally conscious, are able to spend extra for an exclusive product with a story.
