What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We would like a poster/t-shirt design for our upcoming adoption event, Rock & Rescue, a pet adoption event and pet festival. This is the 4th year for the annual event. It will be held on the grounds of the Blue Rose Cafe in River Parks in Tulsa, OK. There will be over a dozen area rescues with adoptable pets in addition to music, area pet related businesses, contests, etc. The community is invited to come out to visit with our animal welfare partners about adoptable pets as well as bring their own pet out for a day of fun in the park.
Attached is last year's poster and our logo. Although we liked the poster, we would like something that incorporates animals in some way and that is a little more exciting. We tend to sell a lot of t-shirts and feel we could sell even more if the event design was a little more professional. One of our board members had the thought to modify our regular logo into a rock and roll heart but we are open to other designs and ideas.
Our demographic is pet lovers in their mid-20s to mid-60s, probably a little more females than males, college educated, urban lifestyle, interested in making a difference for homeless pets. The location of the event will be near downtown and there is a renaissance of that area taking place right now. We kind of want an urban, hip feel to the design.
