Who are you known as?
Lucy Obregon's Creative Mexican Cuisine
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Lucy Obregon is a talented chef focused on modernizing Mexican cuisine in the USA. Born in Mexico, she is a naturalized US citizen with significant experience in creating outstanding, cutting edge dishes based on traditional Mexican recipes with a modern twist. She is co-owner of an iconic Mexican restaurant in Atlanta as well as a renowned chef in New York City. She and her twin brother have started a side business selling fresh made products from their Atlanta restaurant like salsas and tamales to local stores and farmer's markets in the Southeast.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We need a label designed for our fresh made 100% natural salsa. The brand name is Lucy Obregon’s. If it makes sense for your design, try to squeeze the phrase “Creative Mexican Cuisine” in smaller type into the logo. A good example of this type of branding is Annie Chun’s. Take a look at http://www.AnnieChun.com
The label will need a wrap that goes around the tub as well as a circular label that goes onto the top. An example of the salsa tub can be seen at http://www.gardenfreshsalsa.com The tub is about 3 inches tall and has a diameter of 4 inches.
The target consumer is the higher end foodie who wants more choices than “hot, medium or mild” salsa. Lucy’s products are a blend of cutting edge, authentic and 100% natural made food originating from the kitchen in a high end Mexican restaurant. This food is trend setting. Boring burritos and tacos are not made here.
We will need ai files as a final deliverable. Please show examples of THREE different flavors in the competition. This will show us how your design can be used across multiple products as we extend the range into more salsas as well as other products.
