I developed a sophisticated quiz game named BRAINRUN which is only consisting of 300 different cards. They are all in the format 90mm X 50mm. Calculate with 4mm four-side-trim, so make files in 98mm X 58mm, 600dpi.
On the first side (templatebrainrun.jpg) there is the categorie named and a field which should indicate the colour of the category. Categories are:
Geisteswissenschaft & Kunst (humanities & arts) RED
Politik & Wirtschaft (politics & economics) BLUE
Unterhaltung & Sport (entertainment & sports) PINK
Geographie & Geschichte (geographics & history) YELLOW
Naturwissenschaft & Technik (science & technics) GREEN
Below there are two OR three regular questions. Each question always requires two lines. On the left beneath them there has to be shown by a symbol if it is an easy or difficult question or a question which can only be answered with Yes or No.
Under the regular questions there is a place for a question where players have to guess a number, which also always requires two lines and should be symbolized on the left.
Font for the questions should be Cambria.
On the back side of the cards (templatebrainrunrueck.jpg) there should be a quite big place for the colour of the category and the name of the category. Ideally you find good symbols for the categories, f.e. a movie clapper and a ball for Entertainment & Sports.
On the left, there have to be the symbols for the kind of questions which are on the other side. The player should be able to recognize what kind of questions will expect him. Therefore the symbols have to be bigger than on the other side. There can be two or three of those symbols OR only one symbol which sometimes indicates that the kind of questions on the other side are unknown. Desirable would be a small place for the name of the game, BRAINRUN, in Serpentine bold font.
As you can see I made two rough templates for your orientation. I think you should stick to that, unless you have a much better idea.
Style: it is a sophisticated game, so it should have sincere look. Kind of modern, precious and only a bit playful.
I need a psd-file compatible with Photoshop 6.0 and any element in a sole layer. I will have to compose different cards out of your elements. I guess, the most difficult thing are the symbols for the kind of questions and for the categories. They must fit together in colour, style and shape.
Of course do not hurt the rights of others. I hope you will have fun in this contest and do a passionate work. I am very keen to see the first draws :) Thank you!
