Olympus is a leading endoscope company providing innovative solutions for medical industry. With an approximately 70% global market share for gastrointestinal endoscopes and an established position at the medical vanguard, Olympus maintains its passion for advancing technologies in response to doctors' needs and to improve patients' quality of life.

In order to provide the best possible reprocessing for Olympus’s Endoscopes, Olympus launched the OER-AW endoscope reprocessor in 2010. Nobody is as familiar with the design, development, and the manufacture of the endoscopes as Olympus, which is why Olympus introduced the OER-AW Endoscope Reprocesspor for the users of Olympus endoscopes. Followed by last year’s product launch, recently Olympus would like to introduce the newly approved feature – automatic air, water and detergent flushing function to Australia market. Addition to the current campaigns includes product brochure, website promotion and new feature announcement, Olympus would like to promote this unique function by creating a one page A4 advertisement that will be published in different magazines for nurses and included as a flyer for the GENCA conference (the Gastroenterological Nurses College of Australia) next year.

Our target audiences, the medical professionals include doctors and nurses are comfortable with the new technology and innovative medical products. Also, they are cost and time concerned. Any possible solutions that help them to release current workload (save time and labor effort) or improve endoscopes turnover (save cost and help more patients) will be attractive. However, our target audiences are normally not the decision makers but the equipment users and the influencers. In most cases, they have the power to influence the decision makers in purchasing.

Project Objective:

Key Messages
MAIN MESSAGE
Newly approved flushing function eliminates the most labor-intensive and variable part of the manual cleaning processing – manual flushing with detergent, water and air. This feature in particular needs to be emphasized as it is new and a significant benefit to customers.

SLOGAN/WORDING
OER-AW will simplify and speed up your endoscope reprocessing, removing the need for manual flushing.
