While our goal has been an overall design that would fit all our bottled products, we're now thinking we should try to keep the products separate and just focus on the hot sauce labels for now. We have 3 types of hot sauce: "Lethal Injection", "Krakatoa", and "High Voltage". We would like a design that has common elements across all three but with some accent elements that convey the particular ingredients of each. I'll be posting the ingredient lists of the three hot sauces a little later today, or, if you send me a message I can get that to you.
If you go to our website, http://www.chiliaddiction.com, you can see our company logo (which we need to have somewhere in the design) as well as a small picture of some of the bottles we currently sell. The picture is in the lower right side of the home page. We would like to have a lower design element around the main part of the bottle and another element around the neck of the bottle. As an example of the type of look we want you might want to view the tabasco website. We feel the "diamond" , or "turned square" look they have is appealing, but, it's not a must. One thing to keep in mind is that this being a food related label we need to have room set aside for the following:
1) Address, phone, website...basic company info one must list
2) An ingredient list
3) A nutritional label.
Again, if you look at other similar current bottle designs at the grocery store you'll see the types of techniques companies use to present this type of information. We have a software product to produce the nutritional labels and we can make those small square nutritional labels that you see on most bottles of food. So, that may be the simplest approach here as well.
If you want to see other pictures of us or the restaurant you can visit our facebook business page, or, do a google search on "Chili Addiction" and there should be plenty of picture for you to examine.
I guess the only other thing I can think to say is that our website is representative of the color schemes we use and the overall look of our company. And, while it would be good to stay close to that, we are not opposed to new and different designs, so, be creative and let your minds run free!
