Certified Public Funds Investment Manager (CPFIM)
The Certified Public Funds Investment Manager (CPFIM) is an accredited program offered by the Association of Public Treasurers of the United States & Canada (APT US&C). The program was developed in 2007 and has been improved since inception and now we are ready to launch the program across the country. Everyday there are thousands of treasurers and government financial officers who are making investment decisions with billions of dollars. Many do not have any formalized training in investing public funds; the purpose of this program is to provide the proper education to those who are managing billions of taxpayer dollars.
The CPFIM program has the potential to save billions and increase investment efficiencies. It’s intended to give the treasurers and financial officers the tools they need to make the very best decisions in stewarding the money they have a fiduciary responsibility for.
The program is offered to hired government accountants, administrators and elected or appointed treasures, and finance directors.
Some attendees really know their “stuff” and love learning better methods of investing while the other group is newer or “greener” when it comes to investing. This is the perfect class for the beginner and intermediate investor, but it provides the accreditation for the seasoned professional who is looking to add CPFIM after their name on the business card.
Most of the attendees are CPA’s and are required to have 40 hours of CPE credits each year, we are offering 7 CPE credits upon completion of this program. Some states like Florida, Texas, and Ohio among many others require public stewards of tax dollars to have so many hours of investment training each year. This program will meet that requirement in some states.
The target audience might have budget constraints this year regarding travel due to the economic downturn. So, we would like to illustrate the point that this is one of the only trainings that can have a very positive net result for attending. If an attendee is managing 50,000,000.00 for their city, county, township or state and they improved their return by a tenth of a percent that is 50k. Obviously, the CPFIM training program doesn’t cost 5k. Illustrating this point is important.
We are looking for a brochure that is 11” x 17” or 8 ½” x 11” double-sided. We need the design in an Adobe and Publisher file so we can make changes to future dates. We have content for the program and quite a bit of artwork that can be implemented. That will be attached. Artwork would the CPFIM logo, slide shots (which are done in keynote not power point in 1080p), classroom photos from training sites, money pictures and graphics that depict 'Safety, Liquidity and Yield' (the objective of every pubic entity).
We would like to have a testimonial section also for comments of previous attendees.
On the back of the document we would like a registration form.
