This direct mail program will be sent to approximately 500 businesses in the USA - all leaders in the insurance industry. Most recipients are CEO's or executives at their companies. 75% of recipients are men and 25% are women - almost all are between 45-60 years of age and are very successful businessmen and women. They recognize quality, but they also appreciate creativity and uniqueness which is key to designing this campaign in a creative manner. We want it to be catchy, yet still have underlying tradition and quality. The goal is to get them to read the content, so it must be visually appealing and engaging and not a boring, ordinary layout. This is a professional service we are representing, so we do not want to come across as too stuffy, and also not too silly or unprofessional. A "cool" lawfirm is a good example of how we want to be portrayed - reliable, yet not rigid or boring.
A complete description of the project, design requirements and photos of the sample are all included in the attachment. Designers - you do not need to design layout for every piece of this campaign to enter the contest. Pick your favorite and submit - the same theme will carry through, so I can get an idea of your work from one piece. The winner will use the same theme to finish the project. I am willing to award extra $ to the winner for excellent work! The attachment also contains complete text in an easy-to-follow format so all you need to do as a designer is make it look great and stand-out! •Overall theme and design colors are flexible – It is OK to work with our logo colors and try something entirely new and fresh for this direct mail theme. •OK to use relevant graphics to enhance the look or help communicate the messages, but space may be too limited for a lot of pictures or clip art.
