Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We manufacture the worlds bests tasting hot sauce. We would call it a wing sauce, but it tastes good on everything but ice cream!!! We are a start-up company marketing three unique and delicious sauces that combine spicy heat with a creamy bleu cheese base. The hottest is called Bleu Fire, the mildest is called Cool Bleu Fire, and the medium heat is called Bleu Fire n' Smoke due to the smokey chiplotle flavor. The product will be sold in super markets, grocery stores and specialty shops in screw-top 16 oz. glass jars.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We need a logo and a label (die cut) for a 16oz. glass jar. We want to start with one label....Bleu Fire. The winning designer will be asked to design the additional labels, along with a possible label for the screw-top lid at a future date.The label has to be extremely eye catching.and must grab your attention as soon as you see the jar on the shelf. The label must convey quality, professionalism and must also showcase the products rich and creamy orange color. We want people to realize this is not just another hot sauce. This sauce has more flavor, more body and more character than the next three hot sauces combined.
The sauces were created by a Five Star Chef and a ski bum temporarily lost in Florida and we would like to utilize the symbols used by ski resorts to mark terrain difficulty (Black Diamond, Blue Square, Green Circle). We also need room on the label (where it wraps around the back of the jar) to include the ingredients list, a brief product description, a bar code and a Nutrition Information Label.
We would like the designers to use their creativity freely, keeping in mind the elements of the ski bum and the chef, as well as the unique combination of a high quality bleu cheese and heat based sauce.
