Right now I want a book cover (front and back) for my new book and possibly have it used as a logo on my websites.
What I want is too really capture two different lives.
Initial concepts are;
One picture of me in the foreground in the nice shirt and opposite me is the other me in my work uniform. The uploaded work images are actually the type of clothing that I wear at work.
A smal0 commercial jet in the background (maybe a boeing 717 like I've uploaded or something similar) with two queues of people in the background - one queue going to board the plane (preferably people in high visibility work wear) and the other queue of people exiting the same plane in city attire or casual clothing).
Incorporated themes are;
James Bond meets the Mining and resources sector (oil rigs, mine pits, and the massive Pilbara Rail Iron ore trains).
CHC helicopter which service the oil rigs around Australia.
The ambiguity of a female silhouette on the back or front of the cover to incorporate the women theme will work well with this idea.
Also I fly to many places within the north west of Australia. So other ideas are a collaboration of ;
"Welcome to Paraburdoo, Karratha, Port Hedland and Newman signs."
I live two lives (my city life and my home away from home) and so does the books target audience. So I want the book cover to represent the crossing of those two lives in some way (possibly on the tarmac at an airport with a James Bond kind of feel about it).
