You will have FULL ARTISTIC discretion, but my only guidelines are as follows. KEEP IT SIMPLE. I am trying to achieve the look of the book to be one two layouts perhaps – one that looks like it could have been written hundreds of years ago kind of like an old bible or scroll (even though the book is not religious), or so simple that it demands your interest (as does the name of the book).
The cover must be energetic but not busy, and it should stand out. Everyone who sees this book should stop immediately and will have to pick it up. The book should say to the viewer – I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT THIS BOOK. I am looking for quality combined with creativity, but most of all IMPACT.
