gchilcutt got their new poster by running a design contest:
Value Adding to the Tungsten Recycling Process
Check out gchilcutt's Poster contest…
Tungco is one of the worlds largest recyclers of secondary raw materials of Tungsten Carbide Scraps. Tungco recycles both Tungsten hard scraps and soft scrap materials around the world. We purchase and sell roughly 10 million pounds of secondary raw Tungsten Scraps per year. We purchase most materials domestically in the United States. We target machine shops and manufacturing companies that use tungsten endmills and CNC cutting machines. We buy scrap in bulk weights then sort, segregate and clean material types by both chemistry and sizing. We then sell truckload quantities (40,000 lbs) of like materials to customers who are turning that scrap into powder to make new tooling and other tungsten wear parts. Tungco's role is an important step in the recycling of Tungsten materials globally.
What's your vision?
I need a (2) one sided pages that gives all staff members who are sorting and segregating tungsten materials a "cheat sheet" in helping teach them what to look for when they are in the sortation process. These cheat sheets will provide a study guide and act as a reminder how to pull out, discard or combine materials based on value or contamination. One sheet will guide our teams and explain what to discard. The other cheat will teach out teams what to pull out that is of higher value than the other.
I am naming one sheet "The Offensive Playbook" the other "The Defensive Playbook" I plan on laminating the sheets and would like a 8.5x11 sized sheet. I would like both a PDF copy and an editable PSD file.

And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
