Poster for a large inclusive theatre company which hires only the top professional theatre artists with disabilities. We plan to be funded by the National Endowment for the Arts and work in partnership with the Kennedy Center. Similar companies / competition include The Public Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, etc. https://youtu.be/wVjY5h9V3AQ See design feel page for poster on pinterest here: https://www.pinterest.com/mickeyrowe/desgin/
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
A poster in portrait (physical poster, program, etc.) and landscape (website images) form for A Midsummer Night's Dream. I really like floral or foliage inspired designs here. https://www.pinterest.com/mickeyrowe/desgin/ Other imagery often used is a donkey's head. What sets our production apart is that it will be fully cast by professional actors with disabilities (Wheel chair users, blind, deaf, developmental disabilities, mobility disabilities, cane users, brace users, etc.) and will be fully accessible. Poster imagery should incorporate this somehow. A wheel chair, or CC accessibility symbol, OC accessibility symbol, listening device accessibility symbol. What ever. Be creative! Poster should also look young, sexy, clean, classic, and hip! Thank you so much! We need the poster to help pitch the show and will add the dates, location, and director name to the poster our selves at a later date.
