Entertainment & The Arts
Independent feature film. A psychological horror/sci-fi/thriller. Target audience male and female, ages 20- 60.
What's your vision?
The title of the film is FEAR FREQUENCY. The design may include any or all of these elements that are in the film: A sound waveform bar image--feel free to use any sound waveform image if you like in the design. Sound is a major theme of the film. There is also an odd purple box that shows up at the main characters home. It's a main character in the film as well (we will provide images/stills). There is a prominent symbol (pictured) that we would like incorporated into the design. The film is a psychological thriller and many of the events may only be taking place in Jackie's (main character's) head, but we never really know for sure. We also are adding in the film's synopsis for reference. The images we have provided are parts of the story we would be happy incorporating into the poster. The box, the symbol and the masked men are 3 of the images that we would like to see make it into the design in some way but not an absolute. Jackie (the main character as well). Please feel free to use just one or all or in any combination, keeping in mind the 3 mentioned.(timecode is on a few of the photos bottom corner, we can provide without if needed let us know.) Also feel free to reach out with any questions...thanks!
This film has a very unique, quirkiness about it. Think David Lynch, Mulholland Drive meets Mr. Robot, along with being a straight up thriller. We will need text on the poster. The usual movie poster layout for that. Of course the title of the film then actors and producers, writer, director, etc. we will provide later. Here is a synopsis: Once a well-known singer and actress, JACKIE has transformed herself into an online conspiracy theorist in an attempt to shine her fading star. Going by the pseudonym JAX, she has amassed millions of followers who hang on every word of her frequent, unhinged video blogs dedicated to exposing a powerful secret society known as THE PARLIAMENT. But her second shot at fame did not come without a cost—as Jax gained prominence and influence in the digital realm, Jackie’s life in the real world crumbled around her. She alienated her friends and destroyed her marriage, leaving her alone, bitter, and paranoid. But finally, vindication arrives in the form of a global communications blackout. Jackie is certain the Parliament is responsible, but since the internet and phone lines have gone dark, she has no way of telling anyone how right she’s been all along. Cut off from the online community she’s grown so dependent on, Jackie becomes more isolated than ever. She beings drinking heavily to numb the pain, and continues recording videos on her phone and laptop, even though there’s no way to share them with anyone. As the days pass, her grip on reality becomes more and more tenuous. She starts to feel like she’s being watched. She begins hearing noises she can’t explain. And when she finds a mysterious box in her closet, she becomes convinced that she has become a target of the very organization she’s been trying to expose. Feeling as though both her sanity and her life are in danger, Jackie is sure she must solve the riddle of this strange box to save herself. But to do that, she must examine who and what she has become, and ask herself some hard questions… What is real? What is delusion? And does the difference even matter anymore?
