Entertainment & The Arts
A faith-based film production company focusing on uplifting, family-oriented content.
What's your vision?
We need a movie poster 27 x 40 standard size for our new independent feature film, entitled The Healing Garden. Logline: A retired Military chaplain and a spirited young girl join forces to plant a miracle garden touched by God. The garden planted by the pair becomes a flashpoint for healing their entire community of broken hearts, including the boyfriend of the young girl's mother. He is a war veteran who lost his leg--along with his faith--in Iraq, when he stepped on an IED. We are including our trailer (you are welcome to pull any images from it, and if yours is the winning entry, we can replace with higher resolution versions of which images you select). https://vimeo.com/461520834 I'm also attaching some 4K reference stills which you can also use. We are not necessarily looking for a literal interpretation of the film as much as we are looking for a striking image that will provoke curiosity about the film and inspire the viewer to learn more about it. It can be suggestive or abstract. As an example, my business partner suggested a shovel buried in dirt with the war veteran's prothesis lying in the garden, nearby - but neither of us has the photoshop skills to create such a thing. And this is merely an illustrative example. Your creative interpretations are welcome! We are not attached to anything yet and are interested in how others might visually and viscerally interpret the film. We are looking for something which gives the viewer pause and provokes internal thoughts such as "Oh wow, that looks interesting" or "I'd like to know more about that one." I think that is what a good movie poster does - so we are less about telling the story and more about inspiring curiosity through the story's elements. I will now contradict myself by adding that a well-executed literal interpretation is welcome as well. We are looking for that "wow" factor that will inspire viewers to watch the trailer to learn more about the story. From an aesthetic standpoint, we would like a poster with interesting lighting and textures. The title, THE HEALING GARDEN should figure prominently. And the credits at the bottom are as follows, and in the following order: Shine the Light Creative Productions LLC and Rebel Faith Films present "The Healing Garden" Written and Directed by Joseph Granda Executive Producer Jeanie Nuanes King Line Producer Meryem Ersoz Director of Photography Justin Groom Edited by Adam Snow Audio by Corey Baird Color by Frazer Lockhart
Also - please add our tagline to the poster: Sometimes the heart is the hardest soil
