gWell is a personalized health and wellness app offering people insight and control over their musculoskeletal health with resources including interpreted genomic test results, medical research, and curated clinical content that relates specifically to their areas of concern. Our target audience for this particular project are men over the age of 45 who work in manual labor, such as in a warehouse. gWell can help these men overcome concerns they may have with musculoskeletal (MSK) or muscles, bones & joints, pain and concerns. Due to the nature of their jobs (often long periods on their feet or sitting and repeating a single motion), they likely are working through daily pain in their back, elbow, shoulder, etc.
What's your vision?
gWell has engaged with a company looking to help its workforce improve their health and wellness. The next step is to encourage their employees to download the app and start using it. The final piece will be a poster displayed in the workplace, likely a break room, and a similar one sheet/PDF that can be an email, an attachment to an email, or printed out as a leave behind. For this piece targeting this audience, we would like to focus on the benefits of how gWell can help people with their MSK concerns and leave them feeling stronger, having more energy and ultimately feeling like themselves again. While parts of the gWell app focus on mindfulness and other areas of wellness, this is not going to be about ‘wellness’ or even ‘healthcare’ specifically, but more about results and outcomes. And we want to focus less on the outcome they would feel while at work and more on the improvement and results that they will see at home, out of work. The tone should be masculine, direct, positive, and non-emotional. We won’t use ‘feel’ sentences. Make them feel in control. “It’s easy to be who you want to be with apps like gWell” The desired outcome from the reading the piece is to download the app. Include a QR code for iOS or android phones. The final piece will be a poster displayed in the workplace, likely a break room, and a similar one sheet/PDF that can be an email, an attachment to an email, or printed out as a leave behind. This has been purchased for them (from the company) and we are just encouraging them to download.
