Gamification tools for education (adults)
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Offline gamification poster - Tour de Suisse. A map of Switzerland in comic style with 7 steps. A road is connecting the 7 stops (as between 1 and 2). Every stop represents a typical region of Switzerland with a local illustration (eg. bottle of wine, apple, ski, cheese, townhall). A fancy title (Tour de Suisse) should be on the poster as well.
How does the game work? It's quite easy. The teacher sticks the poster to the flipchart or at the whiteboard and devides the class into 4-5 groups. Every group gets a colour, represented by post-it stickers. The teacher asks a question to the class. The group aswering first and correctly gets the point and the post-it-sticker moves 1 step foreward direction to the finish. The group having 7 correct answers will be the winner of the game.
