Dadley Productions, a small indie father/daughter film production company creates family-friendly content (think live-action Pixar) that is endearing, heart-warming, and enjoyable for all ages.
What's your vision?
Needing a professional commercial movie poster for our comedy film, FILLING IN. The comedy short film will also be pitched as a "proof-of-concept" for a pilot to a potential comedy series, and stars NFL defensive lineman, Jared Odrick, from the Jacksonville Jaguars. FILLING IN is a family-friendly comedy film that has been described as Breaking Bad meets Sons of Anarchy in Fairyland. The synopsis for Filling In as described on IMDb (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5886710/) is "A gentle giant of a man who is down on his luck considers a risky and covert career path that involves innocent children. To help him learn the ropes, a grizzled vet in the field takes him under his wing." We're purposefully wanting to steer away from conventional "big guy in funny(girly) costume making funny faces" as other tooth fairy stories have gone. FILLING IN provides a very manly, corporate-world view of the business-side of being a tooth fairy; there is nothing philanthropic about the "profession." For more info on the project check out the website at www.filling-in.com. IMPORTANT -- We DO NOT want to reveal the wings and tutu on "Mike" (the shorter, older guy) in ANY way. That would be a huge spoiler. Therefore, although I've included a full body image of the two men (with the motorcycle and scooter), "Mike's" tutu and wings would need to be photo-shopped OUT, if a full body image is used. The images that we'd like to be the main focus is either the exterior, evening two-shot still frame, OR the full body exterior shot IF you are abble to remove the wings and replace the tutu on "Mike" with faded blue jeans. The other production stills are provided for inspiration, tone, and possible inclusion in some way, if they trigger an idea for you.
The image of the title card used for our teaser trailer (on the home page of filling-in.com) is included here as well. The title, Filling In, must be on the poster EXACTLY like it appears on the title card, using the same font (Playfair Display). DADLEY PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS JARED ODRICK AND KARL HOLTZ IN should be across the top of the poster, similarly to how it appears on the title card, with a smaller font size for PRESENTS, AND, and IN. The title, Filling In, should scaled similarly to the rest of the text (like as on the title card) and spaced away from the credit block on the bottom. Use an industry standard font for movie posters (like SF Movie Poster) for DADLEY PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS JARED ODRICK AND KARL HOLTZ IN across the top, and the block credits on the bottom, as shown on the title card. and on the bottom for the block credits for our film, ROLLER COASTER, which I've included for reference here as well. BTW - Roller Coaster is now available for rent and or purchase on Amazon Video)at www.tinyurl.com/RC-short. More info on it at rollercoastershortfilm.com Centered on the VERY bottom of the poster should be the website : www.filling-in.com
