I just launched my blog (http://www.ajgoldstein.com) and I need an illustration (with pictures & graphics added) of my online research findings.
I've compiled 50+ hours of research into a simple one-pager of content that attempts to deconstruct the key skills of a Data Scientist. I'm essentially trying to slice through all the buzz words and fluffy terminology in order to clearly and concisely answer the question: "What are the simple LEGO blocks that make up the seemingly complex craft of Data Science?"
Here's where my design need comes in: I'd like to "spice-up" my one-pager of research findings (attached below) into a graphical design that's engaging for my audience.
Ideally, I'd like the final graphic to be as colorful, digestible, and balanced as possible. I want the content I’ve compiled to be communicated through well-spaced words & pictures in a way that's not too busy, but rather inviting and easily understood.
As you're deciding which content to emphasize/de-emphasize, I ask that you please keep these three requests in mind...
1) Keep (and ideally include) the exact phrasing of all the highlighted information under the "Data Science Process" half of the page. I'll leave it to you to decide how to best communicate the level-3 details below each of the sub-steps (perhaps a slight re-wording for sake of brevity is necessary?), but I want to be very specific about phrasing with the yellow/green highlighted info.
2) When listing and associating the "skills required" with each of the steps in the "Data Science Process", I ask that you put special emphasis (via size, color, etc.) on the skillsets dually-listed in the "Core 20%" doc (also attached). You'll see overlaps in the technical terminology used between each of these documents and, in particular, please place *special emphasis* on "Python Pandas" as the bonafide "Data Wrangling Tool" for step 3 & 4 of the DS Process.
3) Don’t include the 2nd sub-bullet under section 1A (beginning with “get into the clients head…”). It’s my hope that reducing the word count here will make Step 1 more inform with Steps 2-6.
