Entertainment & The Arts
We create and license contemporary musicals for kids age 7-14 to perform. The musicals are created by a team of award-winning playwrights in New York City and Los Angeles. We license these musicals to schools and community theaters around the world via an easy-to-use online publishing platform. We provide these organizations with a digital production kit that includes the script, all the music, backing tracks, plus tips for costumes and sets, etc. Our target audience is anyone who works with kids in theatre. This could be a school drama teacher, a community theatre director, or a summer arts instructor.
What's your vision?
We’re looking for a bold, modern and fun poster for a new musical we are about to release. The poster and title art will give the show its visual identity and will be used to promote the show. It will also be available to schools who license the show for use on t-shirts, posters, programs, etc. The musical is called “Super Happy Awesome News!" The show is 30-minutes long and intended for kids age 7-14 to perform. Below is a short description of the story: It's about two siblings who start competing online news shows on who can report the happiest most awesome stories (in song, of course!) Everything is super happy and awesome (weather! sports! food!). We're looking for something that is super bright and bold - like pop art. We DO NOT want anything too "kiddy" or “cartoony". Some possible illustrated elements to include could be: - a smiley face - a globe The format should be horizontal, landscape. Resolution should be for 4k screens, 3840 × 2160. TOP: The poster must include the Beat by Beat Circle Logo somewhere on the top. The colors can be changed/edited to match poster if needed. You can find the logo files here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4vpv1urtndxc0e7/AADeQW79wE3qATAImm0eT8CSa?dl=0 MAIN: The title text of the musical must be large and clear. The title should also be able to stand on its own to put on a kids’ t-shirt. Underneath the title is should read in smaller size “A Virtual Musical" (without the quotes) CREDITS: At the bottom should be the credits, which will read: Music & Lyrics by DENVER CASADO Book by JESSICA PENZIAS So the text on the poster should be: - Logo (Beat by Beat Logo) - Title (SUPER AWESOME HAPPY NEWS!) - Subtitle (A Virtual Musical) - Credits (Music & Lyrics by DENVER CASADO, Book by JESSICA PENZIAS) Should have a very fun, simple and clean feel. Could have slight feeling of being made by a kid. Check out the images attached below as some design inspiration. Should all be illustrated or feel illustrated - no real photography. Prefer no stock photos. Simple and clean and bright is good, nothing too busy. Poster should be landscape.
The format should be horizontal, landscape. Resolution should be for 4k screens, 3840 × 2160. Would like the title text off the show to be able to stand on its own and be usable as a logo to print on T-Shirts, etc. You can see and read more about what we do at our website http://www.bbbpress.com

That should tell you everything you need to know about the quality of his work, his extensive artistic skill, and his reliable professionalism. Great job!
