I need a two sided color piece that can be utilized to show family doctors research (from their own academia) that there is no risk involved with referring their patients to our office for treatment for neck and low back pain. I have included the 'serious risks with treatment' example infographic as well as the sources for each bar in the graph (to be presented on one side of the marketing piece) and another separate PubMed study relating to stroke only in patients seeking help with neck pain and headaches (to be presented on the other side of the marketing piece).
THIS MARKETING PIECE WILL BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH ANOTHER PIECE (already completed and printed) THAT WILL PROVIDE MEDICAL RESEARCH DEMONSTRATING THE SUPERIORITY OF OUR TREATMENTS WITH THESE CONDITIONS-----WHILE THIS PIECE WE NEED CREATED WILL DEMONSTRATE THE SUPERIORITY OF SAFETY WITH OUR TREATMENT RELATIVE TO OTHER CURRENT TREATMENTS FOR BACK AND NECK PAIN.
There is some misinformation regarding risks from chiropractic relative to medical treatments regarding current treatments for back pain. This piece will loosely be a part of several pieces provided to our local family doctors to clearly present medical research proving our services are far superior to those they provide (from the perspective of results) and also safer for their patients relative ONLY to back pain and musculoskeletal conditions. This is the only thing we treat and the research would confirm it is the best and safest treatment. Family doctors treat and are best at pathology, infection and disease. These back pain and musculoskeletal conditions bog down their offices preventing them from focusing on the conditions they are best at treating. We want them to feel comfortable referring out these nuisance conditions from their offices to ours so their patients can get the best and safest treatments...and this is part of a research package using their own medical research to prove our treatment is safe, more effective and scientifically supported. In the end both types of doctors want the best for all our patients. We want the results from the research to be easily identified and standout amongst the included support sources and articles (which must be included to validate findings and claims for these highly academic doctors..so they feel comfortable know the research when referring their patients to our office for care). Their referral is an extension of their care and trust for their patients.
1-One side of this marketing piece must include:
A)-A bar graph (I have included an example to draw ideas from) showing serious risk/death rates of all current common treatments for back pain. .Pdf is attached with graph to use as example during your creation.
B)-The sources for the statistics presented on the said bar graph (this piece will be given to family doctors who live in the world of academia and can only be convinced of truth if academia supports it). An .rtf is attached giving sources for each bar on graph.
2-The other side of this marketing piece must include:
A) Much or all of the PubMed research article (url is attached) to again demonstrate medical research proving no increased risk of stroke if they refer their patients to our office for treatment vs. treatment in their offices. This is common misinformation in the family doctor circles. There was an old article in the new england journal of medicine many years ago that showed link between chiro and stroke...the article was retracted the following month following details demonstrating that those individuals who are going to stroke have neck pain and headaches...and there was zero difference in statistics whether these individuals sought chiro or medical treatment for their neck pain and headaches...they had their stroke regardless. It was initially thought since a chiropractor actually touched the patients neck there may be a high risk of stroke as compared to seeing a medical doctor who did not actually touch their neck just prescribed medicine to relieve symptoms. Many doctors do not have time to read their association's journals and are therefore guided by opinion or articles they do not know were retracted as stated above...as opposed to current research. We need to clearly provide current research eliminating misinformation so patients can be guided to the best treatment. Url for the PubMed abstract is as follows:
3-Our logo is attached as an .eps file.
4-Our office contact information and must be included on at least on side of the project:
Shawn Martin, DC, B.Sc, FASA
138 Evergreen Rd., Ste 102
Louisville, KY 40243
5-The piece can be up to 8.5"x11" and be either vertical or horizontal. We generally use gotprint.com and their print specifics can be found on their site. The link to their postcard dimensions is currently: https://www.gotprint.com/postcards.…lesTabLink
6-This is not meant to be a mailer piece but a personally delivered piece.
7-I am including a copy of our rack card (printed on 34 pt very thick three layer paper stock (mentioned above showing success rates) showing American Medical Association and orthopedic journal research demonstrating a 1.5% surgical rate for low back condition if the family doctor sends low back injuries to a chiropractor vs . 42% surgical rate for an orthopedic surgeon for initial consultation. (ie. if you want more surgery...go to a surgeon...you'll get it). The other side shows the success rates of low back treatment when you add chiropractic care vs standard medical care alone. I am including these so you can see a digital example of another research piece these family doctors will be provided.
8-I am also including two headshots that if not utilized can at least be initially used as place holders to allow these family doctors to recognize me when reviewing this piece. If you would like other images please let me know.
9-I am including another pdf of one more piece that we will be using to summarize our office and treatment when presenting to these family doctors. It is the black bifold .pdf proof printed on 16pt. We did step outside our branded color spectrum for this piece and we are fine with that. Our target market finds up primarily through patient referral, google/facebook local search and doctor referrals.
10-This piece will be eventually printed on 34 pt triple layer paper, so it will be thick like thin cardboard.
