Poster for Dreamwalker, a personal development event

Dreamwalker

We're doing an online course called "DreamWalker", which is basically a 'how-to take control of your emotions and build the mindset needed to make your dreams a living reality, to WALK your dreams."

Target audience is young professionals, online audience, around age 25-35, living in Western countries (like UK, USA, Canada, Australia).

I need a 'poster' designed, but the poster is primarily going to be used in an online display (like those websites where the top half of the landing page is a splash poster design << that's where it'll be used primarily.

The direction I have in mind is like "living dead" type of scene, Sunrise, a person walking, shades of grey with like sepia tones and color mixed together. But I need it to be both gothic/movie poster style, yet have the colors into it to make it optimistic and refreshing. (Like a sunrise after a dark night).

My main criteria to judge a design is does it give off a 'wow' reaction when someone looks at it? If someone has to hesitate to 'convince' themselves that it's a nice design, then it's not good enough for me. I need that 'wow' edge.

In the poster, for now, you can just put:
Dreamwalker (as the title)

(that' s not the real name, but we can change it up in the final stages)

Note:
this design is also going to be cut up to be used in other elements (like banner ads) or parts of it used for a website.

And it might be printed out at some point, so need a high def version in the handover.

Update 1: Note: there are a lot of 'dark' designs, although it makes it look cool, realize that this is a personal-development positive direction seminar. Therefore, to me, too much dark looks like "depressing, scary, sad". The winning design should have refreshing, positive, light, colorful elements to it. Something when you see it, you'd say 'wow' AND take a breath of fresh air and feel happy.
