Direct mail postcards:
I want to send a postcard to residents in my area to get them to call us. The main goal of the postcard is to get them to pick up the phone and give us a call. Postcard size will be 5.5 or 6 x11 (please make it scalable because different print shops have slightly different sizes). Postcard will be printed in full color front and back. Front will be glossy. Some print shops have glossy back and some don’t. Need to leave space for the address, return address, stamp, etc.
The key to success for this postcard will be eye catching humor. I’d like the main part of the postcard to be the following: a guy with bad breath (small bad breath cloud?) under the mistletoe. Headline should read “Don’t be that guy”. On the bottom of the card will read “give us a call so those around you can enjoy the holidays too” Then put our phone number. Other than that the only thing the front of the postcard needs is our logo – perhaps built into the bad breath guy/mistletoe graphic somehow?
Back of the postcard will be some info on our office:

Overall I think less is more when it comes to the number of words on the postcard. But not TOO few. I like big bold colors and graphics. I’m also the worst artist in the world so my sample drawing is really nowhere even close to acceptable. Your graphics need to be about 1M times better or we’re not there. I also notice mine is more offensive than humorous, hopefully yours does a better job at humor.
