Pitch Flyer to Democratic Donors - Help save democracy!
Check out alicixP's Postcard, flyer or print contest…
Technology is not a luxury for campaigns -- it is now a necessity to win. The races that make majorities are won and lost by small margins, and technology and data expertise can make the difference. But, campaigns don’t typically have the talent network or the resources to recruit experienced technologists, let alone the expertise to know how to utilize them. In 2018 and 2020, 64 House races were decided by less than a 5% margin. In those races won by Democrats, 71% had a DigiDem on staff. DigiDems hires, trains, and embeds technologists on the most competitive Democratic campaigns to fill talent gaps, find efficiencies, make them more secure, and help them win, all while growing the Democratic tech talent pool for the long-term target audience: Donor Target Democratic donors who are interested in knowing exactly where their dollars are going when they give -- they prefer to give to support specific projects or initiatives, rather than general fundraising. Many will have ties to technology or Silicon Valley and will be interested in helping to close the technology gap campaigns face. They are typically high net worth individuals with the ability to be (or already are) six-figure donors. They have some connection to technology, and they are not the typical “long term Democratic donors.” They are political outsiders who are not “in the know” about the standard way of doing business in Democratic politics. They don’t understand why campaigns and committees are not run more like private companies, or why campaigns don’t all have state-of-the-art tech and data given all the money they raise.
