Etcher1 ran a postcard, flyer or print contest and chose a winning design they loved.
Operates a community drop-off recycling center.
We want to design a postcard/flyer for a USPS every door mailing campaign. The flyer will be full color, 2-sided, 8x10. The flyer should be colorful and graphic to communicate the recyclng items that we take.
On one side we want the flyer to visually and textually promote the recyclables that we collect. Items collected: Plastics, paper products, newsprint, cardboard, chipboard, glass, metals, tin, aluminum, electronics*, oil, flourescent bulbs*, batteries, tires*, and textiles. We also offer paper shredding for confidential documents*. We may want to include a special call-out box for "now taking tires". Include a statement saying service is free unless indicated.
* means a small fee may apply
On the other side we want to display our location, hours of operation, and general information. Hours: Tuesday thru Friday 8:00-5:00, Saturday 8:00-12:00, a call-out box on the what the 7 recycling codes on plastics mean (This is the recycling logo with a 1-7 in the middle depicting a certain type of plastic). Also include a spot seeking volunteer help. Dislay our website address, follow us on twitter, friend us on facebook (account info will be provided)
The recycling center is located at 24448 South Highway 47 (approximately 3 miles south of Warrenton) and serves Franklin, Lincoln, Montgomery and Warren counties.
The recycling center provides a drop off area which is open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 8:00-5:00 and on Saturdays from 8:00-12:00. Patrons may bring items and will be asked to sort them into designated containers.
More information about our recylcing center can be found on our website.
In general we want the piece to encourage people to recycle items they use everyday, and to take advantage of this free service to the community.
